I think a man who marries a woman who sparked his curiosity from a photograph he spotted of her, truly knows what his heart is after. Matt knew he just had to meet Erin when he saw the beautiful smile back at him from a photograph he saw spending time with a mutual group of friends at Erin’s sister’s house. The beautiful, caring, gentle spirit that Erin is, truly displays itself through her smile and her demeanor. I think many are thankful Matt asked who this beautiful mystery woman was, and even more so that they – sure enough – fell in love with each other. I was honored they reached out to me when they were on the search for a Colorado Wedding Photographer, and I had the pleasure of capturing Matt and Erin’s lovely wedding day in May in Colorado Springs. They wed among their doting parents, siblings, family, and so many mutual friends who were all blessed to be able to witness more of their love story unfold. The day was blue skies, and sunshine contrary to the May weather trend we experienced this year with rainfall every day in Colorado. The dark skies rolled in toward the evening hours just before the ceremony, so we didn’t start a minute late in hopes for rolling through the entire ceremony before any rainfall. What perfect and sweet timing that their first kiss as husband and wife was blessed with a light shower as they gleamingly strolled back down the aisle together. This couple is truly blessed with a special love, and they bless those around them with their infectious joy being near one another – best of years ahead of you, Matt and Erin.
