Chelsea and Monte were married at a big red barn, named well, the Big Red Barn at Highland Meadows Golf Course in Windsor, CO. You can’t miss this beauty from the road heading toward the clubhouse, and I was so ecstatic to be shooting there for the first time. The gorgeous venue is nestled right along acres of bright green fairway. Rustic meets elegant with the gorgeous tones of wood beams framing the tall ceilings that were draped in white sheers and white paper lanterns.
It was pouring rain when I arrived so naturally I assumed the ceremony would be inside. Upon my arrival and search for the bride and bridesmaids, the chairs were all being positioned inside the barn. 20 minutes before their ceremony began, and most all of the bridal party photos were done, the skies opened up and the sun began to dry everything off. Any Colorado bride knows to jump on the opportunity for a planned-outdoor wedding to remain outdoors. And so, one by one, each white chair was carried back outside in time for guests to begin taking their seats.
And what better way to celebrate 7 years of togetherness with the one you love than by walking down the aisle and saying “I do.”? Chelsea and Monte have so much fun and free-spirited energy between the two of them, they light up a room when they’re together. And they did that evening. That big red barn was full of dancing, laughter, and joy for the two of them becoming one. And I was lucky enough to be chosen to capture it. Congrats to Chelsea and Monte!
