On a gorgeous and hot early-June day in Loveland, Colorado, Sean and Crystal married at the Ellis Ranch Wedding Event Center. They vowed to love and honor one another surrounded by stunning views of the red rocks along Devil’s Backbone, Colorado foothills, nature, and some grazing horses. Their love was displayed for all to see…and admire. Both are very simple, authentic people, and Crystal told me that when they were searching for Colorado Wedding Photography, they were overwhelmed by all the choices and the fuss they perceived from other weddings around them. I was honored when they reached out to me in hopes that I might be willing and available to offer a simple, laid-back, and lesser coverage of the full evening event. To them, the ceremony and portraiture of those around them that they love were the two most essential pieces to capture, and I’m so happy I had an opportunity to give that to them.
These two are best friends and solid counterparts in a shifting world. Together they promised to weather anything life thrusted their way and asked their closest family and family to witness their ceremony and vow to support their promises to each other. Crystal and Sean, your love just shines. It was beautiful to witness not only a joining of you two in marriage, but the joining of three becoming a family with Sean’s young daughter as well. Your love makes others want to support you in deep and profound ways, and I’m honored to have documented your first day as husband and wife. I am thankful to have been invited into your lives and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both! Much Love and Appreciation…
A special thanks to the venue, Ellis Ranch for a magical setting for any couple.
