Little did Julie know when she first set out to Central America to teach in Honduras what an incredible love story and journey she’d have with the man she now loves more than she ever dreamed she could. Allam and Julie met in Honduras, her teaching and him studying and practicing to become a dentist. The two quickly became best friends and knew they were destined to be together. Her heart and home became more and more Honduras the more the two grew in love. A love that brought them from worlds apart to be together. They bring out so many amazing traits in one another and the gleaming joy and emotions I witnessed on this day are evident in just a few of the shots below. It had been since college since I last saw Julie, and she has hardly changed a bit: incredibly joyous, radiant, and a gracefully kind little lady. I was ecstatic to hear from her earlier in the year on their quest for Denver Wedding photography and that the two would be planning a Labor Day wedding surrounded by all of their Colorado and US family and friends. We planned for portraits and their first look before the ceremony to take place in the beautiful gardens and ponds of Hudson Gardens.
It was a gorgeous Colorado Labor Day, a perfectly sunny September evening in Denver, Colorado. What better way to top it off than witnessing the joining of Allam and Julie in marriage (en matrimonio) forever. The friendships from near and so very far, and love surrounding these two brought my heart so much delight. It made for a day for so many who love and support this couple to remember forever and a day that I feel honored to have been a part of ensuring they remember it in all of its glory, forever. Congratulations you two, so much joy and happiness to your life together! Allam y Julie para siempre. – Jill
