Chris and Giselle’s warm summer evening wedding at the Dove House was something out of a fairytale. You may remember a blog post featuring this lovely pair about 18 months back when we hiked to the majestic views of Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins to capture Chris’s surprise proposal. They finally set a date, family came in from all over the world: from South America, to Europe, and multiple states to gather together to be a part of this chapter in their story. The evening was full of laughter, dancing, reuniting with far away family, and solidifying an incredible love story.
If you haven’t experienced the enthralling beauty of Lionsgate Event Center yet, it is a must. The Lionsgate Event Center is perfect for couples looking for an elegant space to have their wedding that is unique and set up for plenty of fun. Lionsgate boasts their own team of professional and experienced wedding coordinators and staff that will make every aspect of your wedding dreams come alive. Karli was so organized, and a joy to work with! Their expert coordinators can help you with as much or as little as you need and pride themselves on being customized and personal. The Dove House is a historic mansion built in 1927 in the quaint mining town of Lafayette, just outside of Denver and Boulder. It has expansive gardens and grounds complete with 100 year old trees surrounding a stunning outdoor pavilion for ceremonies. The iconic red phone booth, picturesque tree swing and dramatic lighting on the property created a perfect backdrop for their memorable evening. I was so honored to have captured both your proposal and your wedding, and wish you years of joyous love together Chris and Giselle!
